Hurricane Milton Updates

UPDATE: October 16, 2024

As of Wednesday, October 16, all state courts have reopened after closures due to Hurricane Milton.

Though open, the Second District Court of Appeal located in the Stetson Tampa Law Center will not be accepting in-person filings until further notice. In-person filings should be made at the Sixth District Court of Appeal, which is located at 811 E. Main Street, Lakeland, Florida. Staff from the Second DCA will be available to assist in-person filers at this alternate location. For questions regarding in-person filings, please contact the clerk's office at (727) 610-3741 for assistance.
